Clo,

You also have to be careful when these figures were collected as the layoffs these past few years have hit higher-paid men much more than lower-paid women so some people are starting to make the claim that the 'data' is starting to show that the pay-gap is narrowing between men and women, but it's NOT necessarily because the average salary for women has been going up, but rather more likely it's because men's have been coming DOWN.

Decomp,

A study of single, childless urban workers between the ages of 22 and 30 found that women earned 8% more than men

And after 30... their pay drops like a rock?!?
This nearly makes a case for a battle of the sexes. clo
