You're absolutely correct. But part of my conclusion that we are doomed comes from realizing that the things we COULD do and SHOULD do, we WON'T do.
Once that is understood, the ultimate conclusion to this stupid game becomes clear.
Protect yourself: Buy gold, silver, farmable land, guns, ammo, quality liquor, tools, fuel and foreign currencies while they're all so incredibly CHEAP. And move out of the United States if you can. The U.S. is ground zero for the economic tsunami that's on its way.
