Laid an egg in Southern Californicate land last night.
They were without their starting QB and had to rely on an inexperienced backup QB who had ZERO game time play and certainly is not the caliber by a LARGE margin of the starter who is out to an injured throwing arm..
Watching the game I was impressed by the Trojan offense and its defense.. Their new coach has done remarkably well with that team..
The Buckeyes simply are NOT going to win any games against tough opponents with the backup QBs who are greener than most bananas ya find in a grocery store.
Its a shame that a great season is likely over due to a starting QB who is heads and shoulders better than the backups being injured and unable to play..
I think the outcome would have been much tighter and the offense would have been rolling..
Coach Day had better figure something out this week for sure because that youngster is NOT going to work..
Having a perfect season ruined due to your QB getting nailed and gone after rolling over opponents all season long is a bitter pill to swallow..
