This is about what it costs us to live on and run the boat.

Boating costs for 10 years.

Maintenance Upgrades & Repairs $120,000

Fuel 11,000 Gal at avg of $4.00 gal = $44,000
7 knots hour burning 2 gal an hour

Slips
90 months = $65,000 ( We probably anchored out about 20% of the time(free))

Sub-Total $221,000

Restaurants 40% of the time. = 1500 days @ $35.00 =$52,500

Grand Total = $281,500.

$281/10 years =$28,150 a year.

at those prices I might pick up a few and use them on the Ohio River! lol!!!!1

Actually, I had no idea what these types of vessels cost.. Several of my neighbors are boat owners. One fishes on a very large lake near here and the other goes on trips on the Ohio River.

everyone has a hobby of one kind or another and same for the various lifestyles.

That's a good looking craft. I could not do what you guys do as I have a fear of water over ten feet,.

SO I do not go out on boats on Rivers or large LAKES like I have nearby (Eastfork Lake) where U.S. Regattas have been held for rowing crews national titles in Collegiate sports.

Perhaps just too old for adventure on water where a fear of drowning is always my concern..

I am glad that your better half and yerself enjoy the waters like y'all do.. Its great imo that you can share your lives together like that.
