Well, Groups.io is similar to Bob’s.
Join the forum. Open the forum. Create a board. Opening board will show the latest topics or messages to that board. Any member can create a topic or message.
A pull down lets you select if you want to see latest messages or the latest topics.
Click on a topic, it will show you all the messages in that topic. Or if you have it set to messages, it will show you the latest messages in all topics.
And at the bottom of each message click on view all messages and it shows the original message and any replys. You can also set it up so you get emails of messages or a digest of that days activity.
The problem is that it doesn’t handle images very well.
