The last couple of weeks have been more insane than usual, and everything has been insane for the last couple of decades, but this insanity has been mostly about the crazy things that crazy women do. And most of the ladies involved are women of pallor from the middle to upper-middle class. From bizarre social media imbroglios, like a mom demanding all the other moms stop sending Oreos to school because her kid isn’t allowed to have Oreos so no kid can have Oreos, to the hideous and morally bankrupt embrace of a psychotic killer who strangled her three little kids, there’s clearly something wrong in Chicksville. And it’s about time we say so.
