DOJ drops vandalism charges against Olympic caoneist...

Well, the DOJ has finally disclosed that there was no 300 yard long 'slit' in the bottom of the Reflecting Pool and that the urethane liner was already coming loose long before David Hearn, the Olympic canoeist, was arrested and charged with a felony for, as U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro argued, because he put BOTH of his hands in the pool. With that in mind, the DOJ has dropped all charges against Hearn, after admitting that the real problem with the Reflecting Pool liner was that is was improperly applied to start with:

I assume that the other individuals who were charged with misdomenaors, that their charges will be dropped as well.
