welp,

Hope not. I am purely interested in the HISTORY of this land as it is spoken of in the Scriptures often.. It's also where the Apostle JOHN lived and took Mary to live out her life in his home.. That home has been preserved in original condition.. I cannot wait to see it and go inside..

I also want to see the Church at Ephesus Paul started. Unfortunately, Mount Ararat is too close to the unrest in Lebanon and Syria,so we will not get anywhere near it.. There are some magnificent hot springs and spas there as well. Well known. Will be checking them out as well.

The hard to imagine thing is the sheer size of Istanbul where we are flying into.

It is 4 times larger than the New York general area in size and population..

Anyway, we have hired a tour guide and chauffeur for us to take us to our destinations and will stay with us the entire trip..
My son in law's Uncle who has put this thing together is a multi, multi millionaire. Speaks fluent english and is a really nice person.. He is the one who made this whole thing happen. I met him 25 years ago at my daughter and son in law's wedding when he flew over here to attend. I would be delighted to have him as a next door neighbor..

So Friday morning is coming fast. Leave the house around 6:00 a.m. Fly to Boston and from there to Paris and Paris to Istanbul.. Will be in Paris at midnight so we don't want to venture too far with the civil unrest there.

I don;t know if its safe for a group of Americans to leave the Airport and travel to the Eiffel Tower or other places like the Louvre for example..

I will miss miz micro and my dog Charlie. We are always together when I am home. He does not stray far away from me. We are best buddies. I have to call home and talk to him so he hears my voice. I do not wish for him to be sad or mopey when I am gone like he does when I am on trips here on business.

I NEED to give serious consideration to actually retiring from working and traveling to see clients in various cities over three states. It is getting too hard on my physically and with my cardiac issues I don;t want to kill anyone in a car accident if the heart acts up while driving.

So I believe I have some life changes coming. I hate that..

ONE thing I would like to do and enjoy is having a GROUP get together sometime and meet everyone.
I know me and De would be the only blue bellies but that's okay. I think it would be fun to get together and be able to talk face to face and have some fun..

While some of us still are able..

What do y'all think about something like that?

I would like that.. How 'bout y'all?

CHANGE of SUBJECT MATTER .

College FUTZBALL.

I predict either Indiana or Ohio State to be the National Champion this year. I know there will be disagreements but that should be expected. Oregon will be tough also.. Then we get to them thar boys from da southland. Dem Texicans and Bull Dawgies. Let's not forget A&M either. Both UT and A&M will be good. Oregon will be tough also.

So lots of competition to look and may the best Big Ten conference win... ! Thumbs Up Cheesy Grin Laughing Laughing

...what do you care about futzballs, you gonna spend the next couple of seasons hanging upside down in a turkish prison for something like hibatchery or moping with intent to gawk.
