Friday June 5 is coming quickly. THAT is the date when my daughter and her family and me head off to Europe to the country of Turkey to visit my son in law's Uncles and aunts. His father passed about five years ago or more. So we will fly into Istanbul which is QUADRUPLE the size of New York city.. as our President would say:
"That's YUGE!". We have a limo rented for two weeks and a driver to take us on a tour of Turkey to see the historic places and I want to see the early Churches that the Apostle Paul started there as well as the HOUSE that the Apostle John took MARY to live in after the crucifixion of Christ..
Our last four days are at a resort on the beach at a luxury hotel there. So we will be next to Ephesus. Not only is it a city but also a pace the Apostle Paul began a Church in and there is a Book in the Bible about that Church...
Before hand I have to get a couple of deep scan guided injections into my lower spine so I can walk without a lot of difficulty.. Eventually I will need surgery there again to grind away arthritis that lets me know of its presence in a not so kind way.
It's great getting eaten by arthritis on all yer joints.. My older brother in law had this and now I do. What do we have in common. we both were visiting the beautiful flora and fauna of Vietnamese jungles and dodging bullets, snakes, and other traps they left .
