that is very interesting. Wondering HOW LONG this has been going on. Also wondering under What Guvnors watch this started and happening..

Ohio is no longer a solid Red state and has steadily been headed closer to a 50/50 place.
Cincinnati itself has turned Blue in their voting.
At least the city council there is..
Its a cesspool. Vance lives there. Drove past his house last week.. I personally would never live there but its his choice.

The vastness of Fraud everywhere in the cities and lots of states is IMO a sign of the times. Wrong is right and right is wrong.. Sounds like a description of the last days..

On the health front, I still have to have an MRI inside the tube on my left arm this week, and a guided under a scope injection into mt vertebrae and Sacro-iliac joint under scope. This will be a tad uncomfortable and hurt. Doc already warned me. I guess I get a stick to chomp down on... lol!!!

So the week is underway and we are having a family get together at a Fine Dining restaurant in one of the areas wealthiest communities. Lots of the major corporations and execs from the BIG companies here live in this area and Madeira and Indian Hill all of which surround this place. Homes start in this area at a Million plus. That gets ya small one.. Most are two to three times more.

I'm poor (compared to them) and live rather frugally and cannot see any need need to put on a show about being on the who's who list of expensive houses and neighborhoods in this area. Miz Micro is known for making a penny beg for mercy from being squeezed so hard. She's also getting on my nerves because she is so tight..

I want a new car. A NICE one. Near luxury type.

Miz cheapskate can't find anything wrong with the two we got..

I told her she missed the whole point. She's like her mother. I would simply like to purchase a very nice near luxury car for once in my life.

I see nothing wrong with that at all. Likely the last car we would ever purchase.. Might as well be a nice one where ya can't hear air from the windows, and has a great smooth ride with extreme quiet and comfort on the inside..

I have yet to figure out HOW to deal with this kind of frugality.

I can see a future strong disagreement coming in the future. Stay tuned for the next adventure of: "As Ohio Turns" (into a third world crap hole.. )

http://twitchy.com/justmindy/2026/05/11/ohio-turns-off-gps-and-patient-verification-medicaid-n2428076

This past week, Luke Rosiak has shared about the Medicare fraud happening in a RED state, Ohio. Now, we find out there were some policies in place to stop that fraud, but they were just simply ignored.

Daily Wire (@realDailyWire) ~ Ohio Says Safeguards Exist To Stop Medicaid Fraud, But Admits Massive Loophole

As Medicaid spending skyrocketed, Ohio made one of the only available tools to stop fraud optional.

More from @lukerosiak:

At one time, patients had to sign off on the visits and there were GPS trackers to ensure those who were completing the visits actually went. Ohio just decided they were no longer necessary.

Parker Thayer (@ParkerThayer) ~ We found that the anti-fraud system in Ohio used to require patient signatures and GPS verification for Medicaid home care visits.

Then, for some reason, Ohio turned both of those off…

Now, over half of homecare payments are made despite having zero verification at all.

Rep. Mike Dovilla (@mikedovilla) ~ So, to summarize, "providers" don't show up to provide their own family members with home health care services but get paid by us anyway.

Sounds like the fox guarding the henhouse.

This is a much deeper problem than the empty buildings full of shell businesses collecting taxpayer dollars to do nothing.

Last fall, six months after I broke the news of suspected fraud involving asset verification in the Medicaid system and passed a law requiring an audit, we forced out the Medicaid director who allowed this sort of activity.

The cancer is metastasized well beyond that component of the system, and more aggressive treatment is indicated.

This is absolutely an endemic issue and it will take a whole lot to get to the root of it.

Again, this is not just a waste of Ohio taxpayer money. The money Ohio was giving to these con artists was MOSTLY federal money. This is the money of all American taxpayers.

Robert Myers (@Rondo2) ~ @OhioAG Dave - you're invisible - what are you doing about this??

Almost Normal (@93A4Jules) ~ Anyone who believes those in charge are unaware of their shortcomings, I have a bridge to sell you. You do not merely "elect" idiots. This is ALL BY DESIGN.

The GOP in Ohio needs to explain this to voters. Democrats are expected to be crooks. Republicans are expected to watch the money.

just_my_take (@GustinoJ) ~ Who turned the controls off? We want names.

Bonnie (@Bonnie437591176) ~ I'm a citizen of Ohio lived here for 74 years. I am furious about the corruption and fraud.

Spartan88 (@ChrisWest41563) ~ Fraud, everywhere you look. Whoever made the decision to turn off these verification systems should be in handcuffs.
