The Bible's authors didn't know very much of the world. This is also why Noah's ark went just 120 miles in 150 days adrift on stormy seas. Even on calm seas, a vessel left to the whims of the ocean will travel 1,500 - 7,500 miles. But how could the Bible's authors have it end up in Australia or Hawaii or Peru? Not possible. They'd never heard of those places. Best to just pretend that the ark didn't go anywhere...

Micro > why isn't the United States mentioned anywhere in prophetic scripture

How many times do I gotta tell ya, Boss.

Back in Biblical times the United States did NOT exist. Kind of hard for a scribe to write about something that does not exist.

(Either that or maybe the Prophets got it wrong?)

Zim.
