Well,
In the case of Virginia . . . I'm absolutely certain that 'mail in ballot fraud' and other fraudulent activities have a LOT to do with it.

Seems once upon a time (many years ago) darn near every municipality in VA declared themselves to be 'Second Amendment Sanctuaries' . . . And in the next election the demo-rat gun grabbers 'won' more seats.

And let us not forget, that in the run up to the 2024 elections governor Youngkin was trying to purge some 16,000 illegals from the voter rolls . . . and some lying thieving demorat 'judge' decreed that the illegals MUST stay on the rolls.

I'm pretty sure this is just the tip of the iceberg.

why do so many southern states vote in Libtards for their governments? Is it something in the water supply? Coming from the watermelon patches ?

It is just beyond my ability to even comprehend.

They vote back into office the and gubmint the same people who screw over them every chance they get. It makes NO Sense. mThen when tragedy strikes, they cannot understand why there is nothing being done to help the taxpaying suckers who voted into office the people who who don't give a crap about them. They only wanted their money and Power.
Wash.....Rinse......Repeat. Endless cycle...
