The earliest texts appear about fifteen to twenty years after his death, and the latest were written more than sixty years later. Most books are anonymous, and the names attached to them reflect later church tradition rather than authorial self‑identification.

The Gospel of Matthew lays the strongest claim to having been written by an apostle, but the text itself does not support that claim. It is anonymous and references issues from the late first century. It reproduces most of the Gospel of Mark, often word for word in Greek, and refers to Matthew only twice, both times in the third person. Indications are that it was written by a highly educated Greek‑speaking Christian, not a Galilean tax collector who followed Jesus.

The remaining apostles left no writings, and most would not have been capable of producing them. First century Galilean peasants had extremely low literacy rates, and the skills required to pen Biblical books in Greek belonged to trained scribes, not fishermen or laborers.

yes we do sir.

IF GOD in the flesh (Christ) were physically walking on the earth today. performing a few miracles as he had compassion on people who were crippled, dead, or diseased, then there would be no debate.

THIS is what FAITH is all about. THOSE who witnessed these things when they happened and wrote them down like the Apostles Peter, JAMES, John, Mark, Matthew (Matias), Luke, if they were alive today to tell you personally of the things they witness Jesus do and WHO HE said HE was, did not lie or make things up. They wrote down what they had eye witnessed and seen happen. They had no reason to lie.

Its amazing that after millenia the truth of that testimony is still alive and well only it is all over the entire world.

"FAITH comes by "hearing" and "hearing" by the WORD of GOD." The Words that were preserved by the Holy prophets and and apostles contained in scripture will never disappear. God's Words are kept by God according to his Word. They are still here and plentiful all over the world 2,000 years later.....

Without faith it is impossible to please GOD or to come into HIS presence either in Prayer or after you die..
You must be Born again of The Spirit. Only those who have had trusted Christ and believed in HIM and asked HIM to come into their hearts , forgive their sins (repent), and to become their Lord and Savior will see Heaven. LL the rest will be cast into eternal damnation and be tortured in Hell's fires for eternity.

Salvation is NOT about doing anything or working yer way to Heaven. It is about TRUSTING in Christ ALONE for your salvation and forgiveness of your sins.

Humbleness before the Creator and acknowledgement of HIM as Lord is required. That's it. FAITH in Christ alone, Nothing else.

Ya don;t have to pay a million dollars, go climb mountains or long stairs. Just TRUST in And accept what CHRIST has already done for you.. Its that simple.. THEN and only then will your name be recorded in the Lamb's Book of Life which is required for entrance to the Holy City..

Hope this clears it up. MY desire is that ALL should come to repentance and to Christ for eternal salvation.
