Dem Rep Asks Town Hall Audience to Raise a Hand If They Don't Have a Photo ID (Cue the Backfire!)

Americans overwhelmingly support voter ID because making sure our elections are secure is just common sense.
However, congressional Democrats usually are opposed to many things that are common sense, and voter ID and the SAVE America Act is one of them.
Well, that's because "the betters" of the Democrap Party are anti-American assholes.

You know it's BAD for Chuck when he's even getting called out on CNN.
Those opposed to voter ID and the SAVE Act include Democrat Rep. Shomari Figures of Alabama:
"Democrats, including Reps. Terri Sewell, D-Birmingham, and Shomari Figures, D-Mobile, stood strong in their opposition to the SAVE Act, speaking on the House floor Thursday. They said the bill will disenfranchise voters who don’t readily have documentation available to prove citizenship."
This is when things get awkward for the congressman.
In an apparent effort to prove how difficult it is to get an ID, during a town hall, Rep. Figures asked for a show of hands of people who do not have an ID.
It didn't go well for the Left's desired narrative:

Officer Lew (@officer_Lew) ~ 🚨 WATCH: A Democrat congressman just tried to prove that the SAVE America Act and voter ID would disenfranchise everyone ... and it spectacularly backfired — right inside a church.
Rep. Shomari Figures went on a rant claiming the SAVE Act would make it super hard for people to become voters. Then he tried his big "gotcha":
"Watch this. How many people here DO NOT have ID?!"
Not a single soul raised their hand.
"Everybody has ID? So ... I thought something a little bit different."
Crickets. Total self-own.
It's wild that churches are platforming Democrats pushing these tired, debunked arguments against basic election integrity. The American people aren't buying the fearmongering — because in the real world, almost everyone already has ID. Common sense wins again.

Democrat politicians despise their own constituents almost as much as they hate Americans, in general. But, in all fairness, Democrat politicians know their constituents who voted for them are irretrievably STUPID - because they voted for pathetic frauds like them!
