I worked with an old gal named Maxine. Her husband got laid off from his job (unexpectedly) and called her to tell her about it. She went and told the boss she needed to take the rest of the day off. He says, "I understand. YOu want to be with him at a time like thie".
"No" she say "I am going to go home and put his stuff out on the lawn. Ain't no man without a job gonna live with me." She meant it too.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
