I have a hunch that yours may be a tad louder is due to the valve replacement you received which obviously gets a good movement with every beat of yer heart pumping away..

We are members of the scarred breastbone club. Laughing Vertical line..

Ya know what yer heart's favorite expression is?

ONE good beat deserves another !

I know. corny. But true...

Re: “My heart/chest area is a little on the sore side and the rest of me is yawning..”
Happens to me too. I don't think the aching ever quite goes away.

One of my after effects that you probably don't have: I can always hear my heart. Depending on my position, it gets LOUD. I asked my wife to listen to it once but she couldn't hear it, so I guess it's in my head.

Hmm. Didn't Edgar Allan Poe write about this once? Do I have to dig up Jimmy Hoffa from the floorboards in order to get my heart to shaddup??
