... they literally do not think firearms are needed to stop violent attacks. Just take one for the team, throw yourself at the attacker, and if enough of you die in the process, the attacker will eventually be stopped ... or, there won't be anyone left to attack. But, of course ... the one exception is if a violent attack is perpetrated against a VA Democrat politician ... THEN, that politician should cower somewhere safe while their security detail sprays thousands of bullets at their attacker, don'tcha know.
Over the years, we have seen Democrats make some stupid, embarrassing, cringe, obnoxious gun-grab arguments because, well, that's all they really know how to do when they're not raising your taxes, opening our border, or championing abortion up to and including birth.
