I personally believe that the SEC should play the Big Ten head to head annually in at least 4 games. It would be good for both conferences however some of the schools may be afraid of getting an L on their record early.
But every game someone wins and someone loses. Iron sharpens iron.. To get better ya got to play tough games. That is true for all teams.
I would like to see an SEC/Big Ten matchup rivalry that should be great for college football.
Then we don't need to have biased reporters and such saying stupid things early about what teams are best based on geography and bias.
The SEC is tough. Alabama, Georgia, Texas, are the big 3. They have teams in the Big Ten that matchup against these teams so it would be a great thing to have a conference rivalry.. Good for the sport.
That's what I am thinking.. Don't read too much into my verbage. I get supporting one's in state school. While I am NOT an OSU alum, it is in Ohio where I am.. My brother in law played for Ohio State in the early thru mid 70's. He is in the Buckeye hall of Fame.
The best league for football should be decided on the field of play. This season it was Indiana clearly.
New coach that changed things there for the better.

No projection on my part.. I'm just tired of the same old crap every year how sportswriters all think if a team ain't from the sec they aren't any good. I think that BS has been put to rest the past couple of years.
Dat's all. How dominant was Alabama when Saban was there? They were hands down the best.
Some years somebody has a really great team. This year was Indiana. Other years it is someone else..
Two good conferences should be able to play each other for the good of the game imo.
