... because they know they cannot afford to pay their own way. Without American taxpayers as their Sugar Daddy, they know Puerto Rico would be another Haiti in no time at all. What they really want ... and what Doofus Bunny wants, too ... is for Puerto Rico to get all of the powers and benefits of being the 51st state AND the rest of the states to continue paying to support Puerto Rico in the lifestyle to which it wants to become accustomed.
