The Trump administration has quietly decided to allow employers to import 65,000 extra H-2B visa migrants for jobs that would otherwise pay decent wages to ordinary American.
This doubles the current number.
These are non-agricultural workers.
Suppose to be for temporary seasonal jobs.
They are paid $8-$15 dollar an hour jobs.
Two hiring periods in the year, but the visa are for one year and can be extended for an additional year twice. After three years the worker is suppose to leave the U.S. for 60 days. Then the whole application can start over again.
This is how we end up with unskilled construction workers building houses that are crap. Third world style Food service.
These are the people who live 10 people in an 2 bedroom apartment and get subsidized by the taxpayers. ( Feds give taxpayer money to the states. States give money to NGO & Churches who give food and money to these people)
They Can’t live on a $8 an hour job so they get welfare. Some bring their wife and kids with them. The wife get another H-2a job and the kids go to school for free..
