As Twitchy readers know, a bunch of pro-Hamas, anti-government, domestic terrorist psychos were plotting to set off multiple bombs in CA on New Year's Eve.

Tony Seruga (@TonySeruga) ~ 🚨 FBI Thwarts New Year's Eve Bombing Plot in Los Angeles: Arrest of Four Suspected Extremists

On December 15, 2025, the FBI announced the arrest of four individuals accused of plotting a series of coordinated improvised explosive device (IED) bombings targeting multiple locations in Los Angeles on New Year's Eve.

The suspects are alleged members of a radical offshoot of the Turtle Island Liberation Front (TILF), an extremist group driven by pro-Palestinian sentiments, anti-law enforcement views, and anti-government ideology. A fifth individual was separately arrested in New Orleans in connection with a related violent plot, bringing the total number of detainees to five.

Federal authorities described the operation as disrupting a "credible, imminent terrorist threat," crediting an intense multi-agency investigation with preventing potential mass casualties during the holiday celebrations.

Details of the Alleged Plot

The group reportedly planned a "series of bombings" beginning on December 31, 2025, aimed at five specific locations across Los Angeles, with additional targets extending to other parts of California.

Among the intended victims were U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and their vehicles, reflecting the group's anti-capitalist motivations.

The suspects were in the final stages of preparation, including testing destructive devices, when authorities intervened. Court documents indicate the plot involved conspiracy to use IEDs, with the group self-identifying as TILF affiliates—a fringe organization blending indigenous sovereignty rhetoric (referencing "Turtle Island" as a term for North America in some Native American traditions) with radical pro-Palestinian activism.

Specific target details remain limited pending further disclosures, but officials emphasized the attacks would have struck high-profile areas during peak NYE festivities, potentially causing widespread panic and harm.

The Arrests

The four primary suspects were apprehended last week in Lucerne Valley, a remote desert community east of Los Angeles, during an operation where they were allegedly testing explosive devices.

Four of the suspects have been identified as:

Audrey Carroll, 30
Zachary Page, 32
Dante Gaffield, 24
Tina Lai, 41

All five individuals face federal charges, including conspiracy and possession of a destructive device.

The New Orleans arrest occurred independently but was linked to the same TILF subgroup, suggesting a broader network of planned violence.

Investigation and Disruption

The plot was uncovered through a collaborative effort involving the FBI, Department of Justice (DOJ), U.S. Attorneys' Offices in the Central District of California, and local law enforcement partners. Described as an "intense" probe, it leveraged intelligence on the group's online activities, surveillance, and tips that escalated to imminent threat status.

Authorities seized destructive devices during the raids, averting the attacks just days before execution. A joint press conference by the FBI's Los Angeles field office was scheduled for later on December 15 to provide updates, including potential additional charges or network connections.

Official Statements

FBI Director Kash Patel broke the news via a social media post, stating: "Over the weekend, the @FBI disrupted a credible, imminent terrorist threat and arrested FOUR individuals connected to the Los Angeles area ... Outstanding work by our investigators and law enforcement partners @TheJusticeDept. Their work undoubtedly saved countless lives."

He highlighted the TILF offshoot's ideology and the New Orleans link, urging vigilance against domestic extremism.

Attorney General Pam Bondi echoed the sentiment in her own post: "After an intense investigation, the Department of Justice, working with our @FBI, prevented what would have been a massive and horrific terror plot in the Central District of California ...

This was an incredible effort by our U.S. Attorneys’ Offices and the @FBI to ensure Americans can live in peace. We will continue to pursue these terror groups and bring them to justice."

Public and Media Reaction

The announcement drew swift media coverage, with outlets like USA Today, AP, and KTLA framing it as a major holiday security win amid rising concerns over domestic terrorism.

On X (formerly Twitter), reactions were polarized: supporters praised the FBI's proactive stance, while skeptics questioned the timing and motives, with some replies accusing officials of exaggeration or political theater.

Patel's post garnered over 4,000 likes and 170,000 views within hours, amplifying discussions on far-left extremism and holiday threats.

This incident underscores ongoing U.S. efforts to counter ideologically motivated violence, particularly as NYE approaches. Further developments are expected from the scheduled press conference and court proceedings.

We đź’Ż have an Islam problem in America, and they are just getting started. Maybe the @FBI can finally stop protecting/guarding the Jihadist training camps in American?

This map is outdated now.

Ask yourself who is allowing these Islamic training camps and why? This map is from 2017 and shows the known Islamic training camps in the US at that time.

This map doesn’t include CCP PLA fighters, Hezbollah Unit 910, and all of the Chinese Communist Party People’s Liberation Army saboteur training camps.

Today, estimates from whistleblowers indicate there are now at least 2,000 terrorist training camps.

Our tracking technology likely misses at least 15% due to the enemy's use of faraday bags, GPS blocking and spoofing technology, etc., etc.

Kamal Saleem is a former jihadist. Sent here by the Muslim Brotherhood (the very same Islamic organization that put Huma next to Hillary. Barack Obama protected Hamas, which IS the Muslim Brotherhood, but not all Muslim Brotherhood are Hamas) to attack America from within. Obama knows the Muslim Brotherhood’s inner workings, their strategies, their tactics, and their goals.

Any interviews with him would be worth a listen.

Research and you’ll begin to understand this is and always has been an inside job.

Andy NgĂ´ had more info as well:

Andy Ngo (@MrAndyNgo) ~ I can exclusively report that the fifth unnamed arrested suspect in the Turtle Island Liberation Front New Year's Eve mass bombing terror plot is Trantifa militant Micah James Legnon (center photo, in blue).

Legnon is on a federal hold in Lafayette, La. He is a trans activist and identifies as a female. His social media is filled with posts calling for the murder of people he labels as "fascists."

Authorities say the Turtle Island Liberation Front, a far-left communist "decolonization" terror group, planned to blow up ICE agents and locations with homemade bombs. Audrey Illeene Carroll, 30; Zachary Aaron Page (trans), 32; Tina Lai, 41; and Dante Gaffield, 24, are the other comrades arrested in Los Angeles after they were caught allegedly traveling to the desert to test their explosives.

Legnon is an ex-Marine and a former cop.

Yeah, these people are dangerous and nuttier than a squirrel's BM.

And speaking of nuts ...

Tony Seruga (@TonySeruga) ~ Two of the five suspects (Audrey Carroll and Zachary Page) appear to have met with lesbian and Antifa sympathizer, Camille Zapata, whose full name is Camille Harper Zapata, based in Stockton, California on three occasions in two months.

Zapata currently serves as the digital director for California Governor Gavin Newsom, a role she has held since around June 2024, leading a small team of three that handles graphic design, social media strategy, and rapid-response content across platforms like X (formerly Twitter), Threads, TikTok, and Bluesky.

She is directly responsible for managing and overseeing Newsom's social media presence.
