Warrant Officers were worth their weight in Gold. Captains and above were pretty much ok but I had serious concerns about first and second Lt's. They were usually an annoying distraction. Didn't know shit and wanted to micro manage everything.

Blue collar versus white collar . . .

Blue collar are kind of like the enlisted in the Army and white collar are kind of like the officers.

The white collar dudes and the officers are the sort who say such things as "Wouldn't it be nice have a bridge here" . . or "Wouldn't it be nice if we could drop some mortar fire the other side of that hill?"

And, of course, the Blue Collar Dudes and the Infantry enlisted grunts are the guys who go out and build the bridge or move the mortar platoon, lay the guns, and rain devastation upon the officers intended target.
