This was a good game. Two good teams slugging it out with each other. The Longhorns outlasted the Aggies in this slogfest.

LIke all rivalry games, they are unpredictable and full of testosterone. Same was true long ago when my High School team (BIG SCHOOL Div) played Moeller every single year last game of the regular season. Whoever won that game was usually the state champ big school division.

In my four years we split four games with each other.
Several players fromthem went on to Notre Dame and played their collegiate ball there. But, someone has to win and lose. Two very talented teams playing means one wins and the other does not.. Next time they play each other the results could be reversed.

I would call that game a draw..

Today, OHIO STATE travels to Ann Arbor to play Michigan. This will be or should be a close game unless the Bucks get their offense rolling and air assault in full gear. They can beat you so many ways.

After this game, we likely have to play INDIANA for the Big Ten title. This should be for the national title. So one of us may win the national title twice..

So far this year Coach DAy has not had to unleash the full aerial attack to NFL future receivers. Perhaps this game may be different. It's Michigan's last chance to show its better than an average team and they would love nothing more than to upset The Bucks.

So I Am hoping for a decisive win today against Michigan.

THEn we have to play Indian for both the BIG TEN Title but also the College football title.

We should just mamke this easier on everyone and let all the other teams play for third place and let the Buckeyes and Hoosiers play for the title.. This way we won't have to do it again in another month or two..

It took a Big Ten team to BOOT Notre Dame from the playoffs last year and likely may have to again this year.

We'll see.

To all my SEC friends and torch bearers, hope to see ya in the playoffs where the game is played on the field. We went thru all this nonsense last year as I recall.

There is more in America than just the SEC.

I think ya oughta put pressure on yer teams to actually try to get scheduled a game with the Big Ten top teams. It would be good for the conferences and College Football in general.. Let the teams play and decide on the field, even a neutral field..

Anyway, that's what I would like to see.
