Someone posted on the internet that the mayor-elect of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, would "require all New York elementary school students to learn Arabic numerals." Anyway, people went crazy. claiming that "The Islamification of New York begins." Another posted that here in America, we only use "American numerals, not those from terrorists".
If nothing else, it confirms what many of us has suspected all along, and that is that the MAGA crowd are not only stupid, but that they're ignorant as well.
