People are just ill informed and ignorant.
Deer are cute to observe at a distance and most times will run from you. But not always. If they feel trapped they will attack.
ALWAY give a deer plenty of room to escape. They would rather escape than have to fight.
Thisis a real shame this person found out the hard way and the last way that deer are not defenseless nor harmless.
Give ANY wild animal plenty of space . DON'T get too close as they are stronger and bigger than most people.
This is tragic because of ignorance. All because she did not know better.. Ignorance can and will kill you.
