...on my windows 10 system ya cannot see a saved file made by turbo tax and print it. Ya gotta open it in turbo tax.

I think . .
It was two years ago now that I learned turbo tax would NOT work with 32 bit windoze 10.

So I was forced to 'invest' in a windoze 11 box. And the only thing I do on the danged thing IS my taxes.

I also learned that the 'new tech' involves a teeny tiny hard drive about the size of a USB stick which looks like a teeny tiny circuit board which is bolted on to the mother board. Fortunately, the darned thing does have SATA plugs internal.
