Is there a program that allows me to do that?

What does Zinstall do?

http://www.zinstall.com/products/transfer-programs-and-files-to-windows-11?ref=tr-2-ext-win11&msclkid=6f14102b49131411ed92793bfa071b87&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=%5BEng%5D%20Transfer%203&utm_term=transfer%20programs%20from%20one%20computer%20to%20another%20windows%2011&utm_content=Transfer%20To%20Windows%2011

Zinstall copies everything from your old computer to your new Windows 11 computer, and makes it feel just like the old one.

Your programs, documents, music, pictures, favorites, emails, accounts, passwords, profiles, settings - and all of your files.

You can start working on your new Windows 11 PC right away, without spending days on setting everything up manually.

Oh, and nothing is removed from your old computer; it remains unchanged and fully functional.

I've NEVER tried this.

An important question might be "Are Your old programs compatible with a newer windoze?"

If I were you, I'd be sore tempted to just buy a new win-11 machine. Find and go through the steps De gave us on how to make it semi-usable. Then, if you still have the original install disk(s) for any special software try installing it and see if it works.

Rather than leasing Microschnot office you might try 'Open Office' for your word processing, drawing, and spread sheet news. (Open Office will not do Access.)

And, if you can convert business files into pdf files that will improve the portability issues.

Good Luck, and let us know how things work out.
Zim.

De

for those of us that are not quite as deep into understanding the newest software programs or just don't give a hoot, WHAT is CO-PILOT ?

I have no idea. Could you please illuminate me?

THANK YOU!

PS

I Am very happy with my windows 7 pro 64 bit. Works great with zero problems and is perfect for what I do with a computer..

I have a second machine my son in law made for me thinking I may need it.. I need to see if I can install Windoze 10 on that.. I have a new software disc for that and simply have not gotten around to it..

I also would need to transfer all my hard drive's software onto that drive. I cannot lose all my business files and folders. or programs.

Is there a program that allows me to do that?

THANKS!

We (um, one of us and it isn't me) are now looking at
painting the perfectly good bricks on this house which required no maintenance for 47 years and still look very good.

WHY would you put PAINT over top of perfectly fine bricks? Just another maintenance item.. My daughters have too much influence over their mom. It does not seem to matter that I already said NO a few times.

I may as well not be asked..
Just bring in all the income and pay all the expenses monthly and keep mymouth closed and opinins to myself..

OH! That's what married men wond up doing eventually.

This fight ain't over yet. Since its my oldest daughter's interference then I think she should pay for it..

I can hardly wait to have to pay to have the house re-painted again after winter gets done with it..

WHAT A DUMB thing to do. Painting a brick home..
