That is a Basset Hound I believe. Beautiful dog!
Had one much earlier in my life. Smart and devoted.
The smartest dog I have had is the one I have now.
We got him just weaned. He is primarily a Red Heeler with Yellow Lab , a tad German shepherd (tail) and Yellow Lab.
Extremely smart dog. Very affectionate boy. He's a herder. So he runs like a deer, a herd of which he was chasing a few days ago.
I just got done mulching leaves in the back..
Now I am on to my Turkey trip next spring.
I am so fascinated that the Apostle JOHN who took Mary the Lord's mother to care for her according to The Lord's command, his HOUSE which he took Mary to in Ephesus is still there and maintained.
Mary lived out her life there. John went back to Jerusalem to do the work the Lord had given the Apostles.
For me, this is the trip of a lifetime.. I want to see all the places where the Apostle Paul preached at and ministered at.. A LOT are in Turkey..
Next spring cannot come soon enough..
