the air force was our best friend in the playgrounds of Vietnam. When ya is about to git over run in the midst of a fight ya is always glad to have the flyboys come and drop napalm and a couple helo gun ships mowing down hundreds of NVA to keep'em from over running ya.
I wuz always glad to see them. Otherwise I wouldn't be talking to ya about it now.
Thank GOD for all the brave men and women who fought together and gave everything to answer our country's call to duty. It may bnot have been a popular war but wars are never poplular. We answered the call of duty and went and served and knew that we may not survive.
That was all in GOD'S hands and HIS plans for our lives. He had more for me to do afterward. I have been blessed to have shared the GOSPEL with tens of thousands of people and seen many come to Christ and their names written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
Hopefully one day I will hear my Lord say "well done my good and faithful servant".
