Busy day today.
Miz micro is having surgery in a couple of hours.
So I will be incognito most of the day. Its not major thank the Lord, but its all caused by that stinking knee replacement operation, and all the complications she has gone thru with that and the chemicals they used on her ever since. She is just now finally starting to get rid of cellulitis which has plagued her all this time.
Caused by some NEW and untested cleanser that was used on her skin, which is sensitive to begin with.
Right now her blood circulation has been all but a trickle left into her right foot from the ankle down.
So she basically hasn;t much feeling there.
A specialist is going to open up some blood flow channels for her foot by re-routing veins.
This should be interesting..
So I am back to nursing duties for a short time
again.
Thisis where the "for better or worse, in sickness and in health" part of yer vows comes into play.
I can't complain because she has nursed me back from near death a couple ties and the other 12 surgeries I have had to have.
Hopefully those are all in my past.. And hers.
We are in the midst of figuring out a total kitchen remodel. Well, SHE is that midst. I just pay for the materials and labor.
I got over 28 linear feet of granite in black that she is complaining about and the walnut cabinets.
To say it will be a complicated job is an understatemnt. Did I mention the 42 inch wide by four feet long end countertop that ya can sit at?
SO in addition to replacing all the flooring in the house the kitchen needs to be re-done as well plus appliances.
We're switching a black applianced kitchen to stainless. So we now have a brand new stainless dishwasher. The range and refridgerator are next.
Both were top of the line when we bought them.. Plus the refrigerator is 26 cu. ft. with a top freezer compartment. ice and water. It has to be stainless now also as does the range .
New flooring as well so the old needs to be taken up.
New paint on the walls where the cabinetry ain't.
This reminds me of an old saying from a country boy friend of mine and former customer. "Nothing is impossible for the person who doesn't have to do it".
I am paying for installation on everything. I cannot lift over 20 pounds due to the heart.
Anyway, I'm spending like a drunk Marine just before the holidays where we can spend some more..
I'll catch up with y'all likely tomorrow as I'll be tending to my wife of 52 years.
