Yeah, the Kalifornia Democrats make people pay DEARLY for the "privilege" of living in the Marxist State of Fruits, Nuts & Flakes. It's no wonder people are fleeing that hell-hole in droves.

California tax you on renting a slip in a government owned marina.
In addition to the sales tax. They will charge you a “possessory tax” claiming that you leasing the slip for the year means you’ve been in control of the property and are required to pay tax as if you were the owner. They do this because the government does not pay property tax, so they get the users to pay it.
