The country of Turkey is an historic place in Biblical archaeology and the time of the Apostle Paul.. The new Testament is filled with Paul's missionary journeys and trips.
The Book of Ephesians was written to the Church (he began) at EPHESUS which is located in the southern and eastern part of Turkey and remnants are still there.
Paul went to Turkey often in journeys.. SO I am excited to visit these historic places with my Grandson who also loves History and teaches it in High School, and is heir to my Library.. I have been educating my oldest daughter about the historic places that are in Turkey and now she is planning to arrange for guides to take us where we want to go see.. We will be there two weeks..
I cannot tell begin to express how much I am looking forward to this once in a lifetime trip.
The believers who trusted Christ as GOD and Savior were called Christians first in Ephesus.
Plenty of other Places Paul visted and preached the Gospel at in Turkey as well..
Hoping to be able to actually be able to be at and see these historic beginnings of the CHURCH age early on..
