That Truck driver which killed about half of a family imo should jointhat murderer in the death sentence.
There is absolutely no reason other than recklessness that these 53 ft. tractor trailers are continuously running over people in cars. MAinly they are going too fast abd cannot control the weight of the vehicle with the speeds they are traveling. Their reaction times cannot possibly match that of a car driver with a 20 fold lighter vehicle to maneuver.
These guys have become road cowboys..
Now, in all fairness, as I travel the interstates frequently for 6 hour drives on the busiest north and south Interstates, the overwhelming majority of 18 wheelers are driving safe and obeying laws.
There are a few who want to be cowboys and running at 80 MPH in 53 x 102's weighing in excess of 60,000 pounds.
I appreciate the ones who drive both safely and courteously.. Use their turn signals and will let ya over when ya hit a bad stretch of construction.. And that should go both ways for them as well.
Like everything else, there will always be road warriors and cowboys . Dangerous truck drivers as well as dangers automotive drivers. Some younger person blew past me last week going at least 90 MPH. He rode my arse for about three miles in congested traffic and after a few miles when we could use all the lanes again I moved over and this turd was on my trunk deck the whole few seconds I was getting over so he could get away from me. I was hoping to see him up the road a little way with a flashing red light behind him..
So, it seems like Road cowboys who endanger everyone else are becoming increasingly more abundant and making the roads less safe to travel for everyday motorists just trying to obey the laws and get from one place to another..
