That's because the Bible's "predictions" are so vague that it takes an expert to even hazard a guess as to what they might mean. They might as well have been written by the King of Unclear Crap: Nostradamus.

Predictions that require deciphering and interpretation after the fact don't actually qualify as predictions. I've always believed that God would not play these sorts of games with us in a book that we're meant to take seriously.

I was pondering the question that your post triggered in my mind about artificaial intelligence turning against mankind like it did in 2001 Space Odyssey movie?

After all, if ya give an operational program freedom to make changes to itself and corrections and programmed into that program artificial intelligence without reasoning or rationale or right from wrong, how's is going to know or differentiate? It can't and it won't.

Is this what the Bible refers towhen it says that they were trying to become like gods?

I can't think of anything that comes closer but that's just me.

It's just my personal belief that this is yet another MARKER that has been given well over 2,ooo years ago as an indicator of the TIME of Christ's Second Coming and the END of the EARTH as we know it.

It will be changed and purged and cleansed.

So this post of yours has caused me to think a little bit more..
