Thank You my friend! It will be special with a lot of my duaghter's family which are adults now, going as well as my son in law who is the one who has Turkish Ancestry from his father. His dad who has since passed was a student sent to the states to study in the colleges and supposed to return as a mens of helping to educate the Turkish people. Also to have eductaed men that could help solve problems.

Well, long story short, he didn't go back.. That's how my son in law came to be.. His uncle is a multi millionaire in Istanbul and big into properties and has some other businesses. SO we are going over to visit him and the rest of the family so they can see their nephew and neice and great nephew and niece.

I don't think they should give a hoot about me. I'm just going for the HISTORY of the nation.. Its a lifetime opportunity and I am taking it.. MANY of the Churches the Apostle Paul started were in Turkey in the eastern half..

So this is a bucket list item for me.. The Lord works in mysterious ways and made t his possible for me to do one of the things I have always wanted to do and see. My wife is no good at traveling and is a homebody.. I think I have had her out of the county maybe a dozen times in 51 years.. Yeah, she's that bad at traveling in a car.. Its psychological and she knows it but nothing seems to work.

I told her I could do to her what the A-TEAM did to Mister T when they needed to fly. Inject him with a knockout serum... lol!!!

I have to hit the road now so I'll be back after I get settled into my quarters in Cleveland.

Until then..........

micro... Smile

Am looking really forward to that trip and the historic ancient cities in eastern Turkey and southeast.

I have seen Ephesus and it was amazing. Too much to see for the few hours we had. We were on a cruise and that was the best excursion I have ever had.

I am sure you will enjoy your trip.
