Thanks for the suggestion, De.
When I first went there I was able to find that 'free plan' and looked up BKH. Using the scroll wheel I found I could get the share price graph to show more and more of the past . . But I could not get it to display the dividends.

What BigCharts used to show me so easily was a ten year history of the share price, dividend events, and then the dividend history and the trailing EPS over that same ten years.

(If the dividend graph looked like a staircase I figured I had a winner.)

TradingView.com. When you get to the screen where it lists the various plans it has - all very expensive - just click the magnifying glass at the top and enter a ticker symbol. You're in the free plan by default.
