Looks like Michi-Gan is not the team they were last season. Plus Oklahoma is usually a very good team.
Ohio State simply took Michigan too lightly last year as they had better talented players on both sides of the ball.
That lack of intensity cost them a game they should easily have won.. It gave Michigan something to be happy about their season.. We have empathy for those who are having rotten and miserable years.
My favorite teams to beat are Alabama, Georgia and Penn State. My father was a Penn State grad.. Even he changed hisalliance to Ohio State and U.C. Bearcats when they Cats would on accasion field a decent team.
Maily Basketball is wherethe Bearcats have very competitive teams. Football just isn;t their strong suit..
That said, every season EVERY team who is vieing for a title gladly accepts all donations and gifts and errors on the field by opponents. Even those dastardly southern teams....
We still will have to contend with Oregon, Penn State, Wisconsin, Suuthern Cal and Indiana this season, all of which are capable of winning.. The Michigan game will also be a challenge.
So we have a treacherous schedule with not many lightweights on it. Several national title contenders though..
I'll be sure to send the Oklahoma team a gift as a thank you. Maybe a box of chocolate covered buckeyes..
