Occasionally, it's good for Americans to have a reality check about "free" healthcare in other countries and what they actually offer to their citizens. Today, a tweet from a Canadian resident was quite telling.
Glen E. McGregor (@glen_mcgregor) ~ Tore up my knee playing softball. I will need an MRI but Ontario requires I get an ultrasound first. How that's going ...

Mental pygmies who believe socialized medicine (so called "free" healthcare provided by the government) are some of the looniest retards on the planet. Yes, clo - I am talking about YOU, "Miss Cuba Has Better Healthcare Than The U.S." You're a ridiculous moron.
I am quite familiar with this Canadian gentleman's dilemma ... I tore up my knee playing football when I was 17 years old. I had ligaments that were torn apart. If you do not have surgery within a few months to reattach those torn ligaments, they start to wither away - never to return. So, if this man has significant ligament damage in his knee, his worthless Canadian "healthcare" could easily have him waiting until his knee becomes irreparable. This is why tons of Canadians who experience sports injuries, especially involving traumatic damage to joints, travel south of their border to be treated in the United States.
Canadian "healthcare" SUCKS. English "healthcare" SUCKS. And yes, clo ... Cuban "healthcare" not only SUCKS ... it's pretty much nonexistent.
Political Sock (@politicalsock) ~ There has been an MRI shortage in Canada since the MRI was invented.
Well, that's not surprising since Canada started its sh!tty nationwide socialized medicine farce in 1968.

AG (@AGHamilton29) ~ The U.S. has a serious problem with healthcare cost, but many don’t really understand how much better our access to timely healthcare is than most other first world countries.
Talk to people in Canada, UK, Israel etc. They regularly have to wait months of longer for basic procedures and tests that we have access to within a matter of weeks.
Socialized medicine is NOT "free." The victims (i.e., the citizens of these countries) of these worthless "healthcare" programs are financially raped by exorbitant taxes to pay for these government-run programs, and then when they need actual healthcare, they either have to wait FAR too long to finally receive substandard care or they can't get any care at all. BUT, there is some "good news" for Canadians ... if they just want to chuck it all and prematurely end their lives, the Canadian government is "Johnny-on-the-spot" to euthanize them, right away, with its MAID Program!
Allie (@allie__voss) ~ This is why Canadians talking about “Americans don’t have free healthcare” is so laughable. At least our healthcare isn’t a choice between waiting years or being medically euthanized like a racehorse.
Anthony DiGiorgio, DO, MHA (@DrDiGiorgio) ~ This is a test that can probably be done for under $1,000 - likely closer to $400 with cash pay. Most reasonable people would prefer to pay that rather than wait 1-2 years. But, in Canada, it’s illegal to pay cash. This is what single payer does.
Bonchie (@bonchieredstate) ~ Welcome to socialized healthcare.
Dan Choi, MD, FAAOS (@drdanchoi) ~ This Canadian needs an MRI but first needs to wait 1-2 years for an ultrasound BEFORE the MRI. Single-payer healthcare is obviously a nightmarish failure. Beware. The “Affordable” Care Act brought the U.S. much closer to this type of highly consolidated and inefficient system.
Literally, nothing about the ACA made healthcare better or more affordable.

This is why America must resist this nonsense at all costs.
