Zim : I recently read an article telling me Trump has been ordering power plants to stay on line because without them we would be suffering from blackouts - a lot more frequently. Particularly in states calling for 'Net Zero' (carbon emissions). As in the fools be trying to shut down 'carbon based' power plants without first getting 'alternative energy' on line. not to mention that those 'alternative energy solutions' are intermittent, unreliable, and expensive.

Energy Secretary Chris Wright has argued that the US needs to keep existing power sources online as demand skyrockets.

Campbell coal-fired power plant in western Michigan to remain online, Democratic lawmakers and activists argued that the move would cost consumers millions of dollars. Federal emissions and regulatory figures shared with the Washington Free Beacon, however, show that the plant has been profitable in the wake of that order.

Zim: Apparently the dimwitted demon-crappers ONLY looked at the operating costs. And ignored the revenue from selling electricity.
