First of all, the vote was delayed for weeks because the spineless thieves of your political party in the Texas House cowardly ran away to some gerrymandered blue states. Democracy just wasn't going to let them have their way, so they predictably behaved like the sniveling pussies that you Democrats are.
Second, your Texas Democrats flailed around as long as they could to delay the inevitable vote by proposing amendment after amendment - even including one ludicrous amendment that would delay the implementation of the new map until the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files! ROTFLMAO!
