A LOT of Motherboards are manufactured in TAIWAN. So are many other components like MEMORY (RAM) and some processors.

I have been building computers from scratch for a very long time for people and thisis what I had noticed.

I was buying a cable the other day at a Best Buy. It was a Belden Cable Products cable. When I was checking out I looked at the box and saw it was made in Viet Nam. I said to my wife that everything now is made overseas. The clerk said “yea it’s always been that way,America has never made any electronics ever”. I said sure we have long ago. He said nope everything has always been made in China.
