The Texican Horns will be opening at Ohio State this season. Ohio State lost its entire defensive front and many of its offensive line to the NFL. So it won;t be the same team as last year and they have to adjust to each other.
Texas has a new household family name at QB this season. Good genes. But the game is played on the field and not in ancestry books.
I was a huge fan of Archie Manning when he played both collegiately and pro. Peyton and Eli have their opwn great records they have left behind.
NOW its time to see what Eli can do against good competition. Hopefully the Bucks defensive line and pass rush can stay atthe same level as last year's. If so, it will be very interesting.. If the front D line is not as good, it will be an offensive explosion..
KUDOS to TEXAS for opening a season against a tough opponent and not an automatic win opponent like most of the teams do.. PAdding the win column is not demonstrating the quality of a team..
