One other thing that needs to happen ... don't know if this can be done legislatively or if the Texas Constitution has to be amended, but they need to codify what happens to Texas legislators who intentionally leave the state to willfully abandon the responsibilities of their office. This running away to deny quorum BS has got to stop. They need to make it so that their position is vacated and allow the Governor to select a temporary replacement until the next election.

It was a game of stud poker - and they ain't no studs.

1. They saw that the cost was going to have to be paid out of their own pockets.

2. They saw that Beto is going to have an arrest warrant served for contempt of court, immediately filed by Abbott and Paxten.

3. They saw the legal battle was NOT going to be prolonged, as they thought. VERY EXPIDITED filings in Supreme Court of Texas.

4. They saw that WU is probably going to lose his seat.

5. They saw that probable bribery and fraud charges are going to be filed against them over the funding thievery.

Looks like a ROYAL FLUSH to me, and they won't even have a pot to piss in after that lever returns to its fill position.

CAVEAT AD NAUSEUM.

The prosecution and a sentence of six months prison time for BETO are an absolute must on the contempt issue. Don't pussy out on that.

Indictment, charges, and prosecution for FRAUD by BETO also must be pursued.

The criminal nonsense HAS to stop.
