thanks for the explanation Zim.

Ya could write on an half of a fingernail what I know about programming. My brother in law is one of the best and has made a great living off of doing it and making some really cool software for city governments and 911 systems. I hate to admit that he is smarter than I would ever give him credit for being.. Its a competition thing between us.

He thought he was really good at playing ping pong and so one evening at my dad's home he wanted to go "teach" me how to play in the rec room.. He was gonna school me.

Well, that didn't work out too well for him or his sons. I won 10 straight games easily against him and only three against his oldest son before he just didn't want anymore.

Then they wanted to arm wrestle. Now they think are stronger than I am..
That was another huge mistake on their part.. I put him down in under ten seconds. Only five for his son.

He seemed to forget that when we were in High School together that I was the strongest kid in the high school as measured by weight ya could lift over yer head and hold it for ten count. Dead lift..

Egos can get one into trouble when combined with pride. And/or a loose tongue and lips.

He was and still is a great programmer and IBM still calls him..

Me? I am not straining my brain anymore. I am having fun helping others and getting paid and keeping busy..

I use my extensive background in industry and engineering to help others overcome bottlenecks and show them best practices to keep things running smoothly and more up-time for their production while producing better quality products.

THIS is what I really enjoy doing.. Applying Manufacturing engineering methodologies and also using mechanical engineering knowledge to solve mechanical issues.

I work when I feel up to it.. This could be the last year I will do this as my body is tiring more easily and a lot has to do with the heart.

SO I now live one day at a time.. make plans accordingly but do not kill myself on trips or while driving to someplace either.

We just installed a new larger television set for miz micro and the picture is really good. Its only a 50 incher but plenty big for the viewing space and distance.

Time for me to get going. I am being beckoned. My wife is now a PGA Tour addict on the television. I am shocked by this.. Maybe she's seen the light?
lol!!!!

Goodnight to all!

micro..

You're gonna love this one Boss.

That one was a 'green anaconda' - BIGgest heaviest snake in the world.

No, I am not into snakes. I do like the occasional snake story . . . long as I don't get bit.

Streamline your data projects with Anaconda—a bundled Python platform built for data science, letting you code, analyze, and manage everything in one place. For Linux, Windows, and macOS.

So, even in the computer programming world pythons and anacondas are kissing cousins.

I do like computer programming in Python. With Python and Tkinter I can create windoze quality programs with that GUIy interface we all know and love.

Best of all, Python is FREE. I got it installed on this Windoze 7 machine. It is also on a Linux box I use.

It's a hobby.
Zim.
