??? Ukraine could do a lot right now to collapse the Russian economy. Blowing up the gas pipelines transporting Russian gas over Ukrainian territory would be a start.

Targeting Russian oil pipelines and tankers would also go a long way to reaching that target, not to mention going after ALL Russian oil fields and oil infrastructure with targeted drone attacks.

Of Course, the rest of Europe would scream bloody murder at the Ukranians 'cuz they are already short of sufficient natural gas *even with greatly increased US LNG exports to EU* and significant reductions (4-5 mil bopd out of the 10 mil bopd that Russia produces in oil would drive world oil prices sky high.

I had a stray thought . . .

There is the possibility of Russia's economy collapsing late this year or early next year. (Unless 'We' do something incredibly stupid like help russia to 'rebuild'.)

Ukraine 'accepts' the current deal. for the next five months or so Ukraine makes a LOT of long range drones. When the russian economy collapses or if it just gets close Ukraine launches and sends the rest of the Russian economy into the toilet. Then retakes all of what, around 1992, was recognized as Ukraine. (But not a square meter more.)
