I had a stray thought . . .

There is the possibility of Russia's economy collapsing late this year or early next year. (Unless 'We' do something incredibly stupid like help russia to 'rebuild'.)

Ukraine 'accepts' the current deal. for the next five months or so Ukraine makes a LOT of long range drones. When the russian economy collapses or if it just gets close Ukraine launches and sends the rest of the Russian economy into the toilet. Then retakes all of what, around 1992, was recognized as Ukraine. (But not a square meter more.)
