It appears there is no gratitude that the WNBA players possess for even being able to carry on their B-Ball playing days and get paid after their days in college have passed.
This is not a BLANKET for ALL players. Just the ones with out of control egos who apparently believe they are as good as their male counterparts and a lot more fun to watch..
I have enjoyed collegiate women's basketball for decades. There have been some very talented women playing the game against other women.
Those ladies don't seem to grasp that they won't survive against NBA caliber male B Ball players and what they actually can do versus the female players.
Athleticism is on full display in an NBA game. Egos are as well but many of them are well deserved.
What I see and hear from the outspoken ladies is FRUSTRATION that they were naive enough to believe that the Public was going to support watching them as much as the NBA and pay high ticket prices to watch inferior basketball.
I believe they simply vastly overestimated their audience appeal and are now disappointed they are not making truckloads of money..
I guess I might be disappointed too but they are still making a lot better income than anything else they could be doing....
