The fundamental difference between Democracy and Replucic are on full view in the issue of 'gerrymandering'.

The demoncraps are expert at fully exploiting this difference.

The 'founding fathers' were wise in their evaluation of the differences, and were correct that a Republic is preferable in establishing just and moral government long term than democracy, which they decried as being extremely dangerous, ultimately resulting in mob rule.

Fact: With a democracy, 51% of the people can beggar the other 49% of the population. With a 'majority', one can secure almost 100% of the representation, leaving the other 49% with NO representation, NO voice whatsoever in the governing of ALL.

The majority can ALWAYS screw the minority in a 'democracy', and can (and does) effectively silence any opposition, when that majority has no moral center.

In Cali-fornication, the 40% minority (republicans) have had their voice reduced to 17% representation already, with the demoncraps poised to reduce it to a paltry 7% with their current 'redistricing'.

Majority rule, Democracy.

Is it moral ?

ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Sir Wizard, your post was EXCELLENT.

In Texas, Republicans rule decisively - and have for many decades, now - because a strong majority of Texans have consistently voted for that to be the case. Oh, it's not like we don't have some Democrats - we do - but, the Texas voters have seen fit to marginalize their power to effectively peddle their Marxism. They hold sway in some enclaves around the state where brainless twits and self-proclaimed "victims" who expect government handouts have congregated, but they do not exercise state-wide power.

Democrats in California, Illinois, New York, and other blue states have had absolutely no qualms whatsoever about historically redrawing their congressional districts to favor the Democrat Party and blissfully admit they will continue to do so in the future, so long as they maintain power. They even go to some extreme lengths in redrawing districts to ensure their continued power (i.e., Gerrymandering) and are quite content to publicly admit this, as well. BUT, if Republicans attempt to do the same in another state - Texas being the latest example - then Democrats scream bloody murder and throw a temper tantrum arguing that this is a heinous, racist, unconstitutional action by Republicans.

So, here we are, again ... Democrat representatives in the Texas legislature have cowardly flown the coop to other states in a pathetic attempt to deny a quorum to the Texas legislature. They've done this in the past. Apparently, it is the only move they have to make and they intend to ride this one-trick pony into the ground.

WOOF! Even This CNN Journo Asks If TX Dems Realize How BAD It Looks for Them to Flee to Gerrymandered IL

http://twitchy.com/samj/2025/08/04/andrew-kaczinsky-didnt-anyone-think-about-the-pr-how-bad-this-looks-for-democrats-n2416695

Texas Democrats think abandoning their constituents and throwing a temper tantrum is somehow holding the line.

They are such melodramatic little creatures, aren't they?

Check this post out:

Sheryl Cole (@SherylCole1) ~ I’m heading to Chicago right now to stop this rigged-redistricting process. We can’t allow Donald Trump and Greg Abbott to steal power from the people with these proposed congressional maps. We are continuing to hold the line, no matter what. #txlege

So ... Texas Democrats are fleeing the state to stop redistricting, and they're fleeing to Illinois.

Huh.

HA.

HA ha.

HA HA ha.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.

They are either clueless or so arrogant that they didn't even think about this. When even CNN's Andrew Kaczynski questions how this looks?

Yeah. Woof.

Andrew Kaczynski (@KFILE) ~ {Replying to @SherylCole1} Was there nobody on the PR side who was like maybe we shouldn’t go to one of the most corrupt gerrymandered states in the country?

Oooof ... uh, Rep. Cole ... it's really, REALLY awful when a card-carrying Marxist, such as yourself, is mercilessly MOCKED by a political reporter at the Communist News Network for being a pathetic hypocrite.

Not a great look at all.

If they want to claim somehow they're fighting gerrymandering, the worst place they could have gone is corrupt, criminal, Democrat-ruled Illinois. What a bunch of mouth-breathing dipwads.

Enguerrand VII de Coucy (@ingelramdecoucy) ~ {Replying to @KFILE} On a chartered jet, no less!

Good point. Not only did they flee to gerrymandered Illinois, but they did it on a private jet. But hey, they're fighting for Democracy, you guys!

Stupid of this magnitude should be painful so they can at least learn from it.

Democrats don't have the cognitive ability to learn, so they are doomed to repeat their stupidity over and over and over, again.

Alec Sears (@alec_sears) ~ {Replying to @KFILE} It's not gerrymandering when they do it, Andrew. Keep up.

That is the delusional double-standard by which Democrats live.

Oh, that's right, when they do it, it's called "holding the line."

Can of Spam (@iDoLikeSpam) ~ This comes from a privilege of always having about 99% of the media covering for you. You don't have to be smart or logical under those conditions.

Exactly. They expect the mainstream media to cover for them ... but, if even CNN is wondering about how bad this looks for Democrats, they might have underestimated how stupid this whole plan really was.

Texas Democrats didn't win last time they tried this stunt, so ...

Grab your popcorn.
