Excellent post, Zim. Accurate assessments, and well thought out.

Couldn't agree more.

Would add another point in 'not pursued because ...'

Trump had an absolutely abysmal Atty General - Jeff Sessions - who would not buck the swamp even an iota.

But ... that wasn't clear until well after Jan 20, 2017.

Sure. But given the strangle hold on our 'system of justice' . . . How much traction would Trump have gotten?

And didn't Trump install three supreme court justices?

>>>
Donald Trump appointed three justices to the Supreme Court during his presidency: Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett. These appointments significantly shifted the court's balance towards a conservative majority.
>>>

I suspect that that will have a lot of importance in Trumps victories moving forward.

I also suspect obozo stacked the bureaucracies with demo-rat partisans - smart skunks - but still skunky enough to hamstring most of what Trump was trying to do.

Biden? Tried stuffing the offices with DEI hires. Absolute incompetents.

I think Trump was a bit naive in his first term. . . . But he learned a lot.

At any rate. Better late than never.

Zim.
