Studies of the past provide hints of what the future might be.
Hypothetically speaking . . . Some fruit loops manage to dump several tons of fine aluminum confetti into earth orbit . . reflecting a LOT of the suns energy out into space. The planet takes a dive into the deep freeze . . . How long till the orbitals clean out and how long till the ice melts and human civilization can again thrive?
